Hee Yung A., of Lynnwood was active in her daughter’s school and pregnant with twins when injured in a crash. After negotiating a successful settlement, she wrote: “In March of 2009 I was side swiped by a vehicle trying to merge into my lane. I was pregnant with twins and went into pre-term labor, had neck and back injury and rushed to Steven’s Hospital. My husband and I faced the possibility of losing the twins and dealing with the accident. We did not know if we should try to handle the accident ourselves or get an attorney. We felt that dealing with the accident and my pre-term labor was too much and asked a good friend who works in the legal field for a good attorney. We were recommended Steve Sitcov and after speaking with him, we felt at ease and very confident that he was the right choice. Steve went above and beyond and worked very hard for us to get a decent settlement, best of all he is a parent himself and we felt that he really cares.” Charles D., of Redmond was out doing chores one Saturday when another driver disregarded the red light. He offered these kind observations: “After being injured in a head-on auto accident, the at-fault driver’s insurance company was being extremely difficult and uncooperative. I was given the names of several attorneys whom I contacted. They all had this sense of bravado and tough talk about them towards going after the insurance company and didn’t seem all that interested in me or how I was. It was more about locking me in to use them as an attorney. When I met with Steve, his approach was very different. There was a concern for how I was doing and what I was going through. There was also a quiet confidence that comes from nearly thirty years as a personal injury attorney. Steve explained the process at the beginning, and as the case progressed, he continued to explain things in simple terms. Having been in his field for as long as he has, Steve knows when to negotiate and collaborate, and when to push on behalf of his clients. As a result of Steve’s experience with personal injury claims, he was able to get me the maximum policy limits without ever going to trial. I would highly recommend Steve to anyone needing a personal injury attorney. To me, he represents a high standard of ethics and integrity, a genuine concern for his clients, and a great ability to negotiate settlements.” Brian S., of Sammamish, whose twenty year old daughter Kelly died in a tragic accident when a man driving on I-5 fell asleep and crossed the median, striking her car, had this to say: “We met Steven through tragic circumstance. And while this proved to be one of the darkest points in our lives, Steven proved to be one of a few shining lights. With the entire burden that accompanies tragedy, it was an immense relief not to worry about the accompanied legalities. In the few years we have been associated, Steven has consistently demonstrated his ability to outperform our expectation and remains to this day a trusted and dear friend.” Jenny C. of Redmond is a personal trainer. She sustained a serious hip injury when a Nobel Prize winning scientist tried to cut in front of another car, causing a 3 car pile-up. She offered these kind words: “Steve Sitcov supported us throughout the entire litigation process. His timely communication, research, and knowledge guided us towards our desired goal. When we first met Steve, we were impressed with his approachability and genuine empathy for us. He clearly discussed the timeline, process, and possible outcomes of our case. If things changed, or we had questions, Steve was very accessible and easy to talk to. He always responded immediately and had patience for each and every question. Overall, we were impressed with Steve’s organization, professionalism and passion to work for his client’s goals. Not only did we come away with the desired outcome of our case, but we came away with a good friend.” Gary L. of Seattle was injured while riding his
motorcycle home from classes at North Seattle Community College. A cab made a U-turn
in front of him and he flew over it, sustaining a serious hand injury,
requiring surgery. After a successful jury verdict, “Mr. Sitcov made me feel very comfortable from the beginning to the end of my suit. He worked very hard and was extremely detailed in his effort to put together a great case. I would refer him to friends and family in need of his services.” Marla F. of Seattle was struck while walking in a crosswalk. The driver’s car insurance company said she was at fault. So did her own insurance company. Although Marla was reluctant to start a lawsuit, she understood Steve’s recommendations. Ultimately, both insurance companies paid her the maximum amount of money available: “After being hit by a car as I walked through a crosswalk, Steve Sitcov helped me put my pieces back together. And as I worked on healing physically, I didn’t have to worry about healing legally, as Steve represented me. As he weighed though the pounds of paperwork, he patiently helped me to understand the aspects of my case, explained to best steps to take, the reality of what I should expect, and the time it would take. The news wasn’t always good, and I wasn’t always happy but Steve kept things factual and accurate, always with compassion and consideration. Steve is very accessible, and I could always go directly to him with questions as things worked themselves out. Being injured has been a very traumatic event in my life, but with Steve’s help my focus stayed on healing, and looking forward.” Bruce and Maureen S. of Seattle, after a week long jury trial, wrote: “We would highly recommend Steven Sitcov to anyone in need of excellent representation! To make a very long story as short as possible, we originally had another attorney, who was a part-time Judge, representing us in a personal injury case who felt that we should accept a settlement of $20,000. After thinking about it for a period of time, we felt it just wasn’t right! We decided to get a second opinion, and through a recommendation, we were given Steven Sitcov’s name and contact information. From our very first conversation, without hesitation, we determined that it was in our best interest to change Counsel. From our first meeting with Steven, until the jury reached a verdict, we felt very confident that our choice in switching to Steven was the best move we could have possibly made. This was a very complicated case, and at times leading up to trial, Steven and I had to make difficult decisions. Some things we didn’t always agree with, but in the end we had enough faith in Steven to trust his judgment. Steven always said he would try the case the way we wanted and we felt, after voicing our opinions, very confident in trusting his expertise and strategy in every critical decision we had to make. Because of Steven, we received a jury verdict of $279,000. Enough said!”
